Saturday 30 December 2006 – Queenstown - Wanaka

Trip: Queenstown - Glenorchy - Queenstown - Arthurs Point - Coronet Peak - Arrowtown - Crown Terrace - Crown Range - Cardrona - Wanaka

End Mileage: 183171

Start Mileage: 182977

Distance Travelled: 194

Up and showered and breakfasted by 8am - bit scary really as this is now two days in a row where we've been organised by 8am. Bit of a walk around Queenstown and then got the 10am trip on the TSS (Twin Screw Steamer) Earnslaw - on Lake Wakatipu to Walters Peak (and back). Pictures as below.

Yes we did really do this, we are on the boat:

Stowaway...

Walter Peak Station.

Cyclists everywhere...

Then along the side of the lake to Glenorchy.

Shotover River and jet boats.

Coronet Peak road and views (and cyclist of course).

Then over the Crown Range:

Cardrona Pub :-)

Pub cat and back of the pub.

More views from the back of the pub.
